MassResistance invited to comment in National Public Radio show with doctor who gives sex-change treatments to kids!

Tells the uncomfortable truth as media starts PR campaign for Transgender Bill. Listen for yourself!

POSTED: May 28, 2010

The propaganda machine is firing up. As the Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes bill (H1728) awaits action in the Legislature, the PR cam-paign in the media to get it passed is moving forward.

Date of show: 5/25/10:
Note: Brian Camenker of MassResistance comes on about 2/3 thru the show.

RadioBoston Tranny Interview

Boston's National Public Radio affiliate did a slick (and very disturbing) show about "transgender children" and their efforts to "become" the opposite sex. It featured the efforts that misguided parents are taking to encourage that behavior, including sending kids to a transgender summer camp with transgender-activist counselors.

But worse, they interviewed in studio Dr. Norman Spack, the bizarre doctor at Boston Children's Hospital who gives young children powerful drugs to delay their puberty so they can be more easily operated on later to "change" their sex.

In the show, Spack's work was celebrated as groundbreaking and modern. It was a textbook NPR bias piece - sophisticated, emotional, erudite, progressive-sounding and thoroughly slanted. It had to be, because the subject matter was thoroughly disturbing and radical.

But they also wanted a few words from the "other side" so they included Brian Camenker of MassResistance in the show for a few minutes. Well, Camenker basically poured cold water all over it, rightly describing Dr. Spack's work as "madness," "destructive" and "extremely fringe in the medical community" among other things. They couldn't get rid of him fast enough. As one of their producers later admitted, Camenker "went against the grain of the show".

Unfortunately, in today's world (as George Orwell observed) the truth must constantly be restated. Things are only going to get worse before they get better. Everyone must be willing to confront this issue, or fringe "medical" practices such as Spack's will become routine.
