Had enough? Citizens, take back your government!

In FY2007 Budget Mass. Legislature poised to QUADRUPLE funding for homosexual programs in schools -- to nearly $2 million (or more)!

(See actual budget items below)

Last year the Massachusetts Legislature stunned parents and citizens by raising the funding for homosexual programs in the public schools by 70% -- from $250,000 to $425,000 (and overwhelmingly passing it over the Governor's veto).

And what followed has been a year of unprecedented, aggressive, and militant homosexual activism in the public schools, from "Gay Days" and the Day of Silence in schools across the state, and even elementary school horrors such as the "King and King" incident. Much of this money goes directly to the "Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, which funnels many thousands of dollars to "Gay Straight Alliances" clubs in schools, and uses thousands more for events such as the "Youth Pride" weekend.

Well, you ain't seen nothing, yet.

This coming year's budget, now being debated in the Legislature, more than quadruples that, to nearly $2,000,000 -- or maybe more. Traditionally, the homosexual activists try to "bury" their funding in various budget items and amendments during the budgeting session. But we've uncovered it, and it's not pretty. . . The items below are from the House of Representatives proposed budget and amendments for next year:

Here are the budget items:

This Department of Public Health item starts out with $350,000 (last year's amount) being doled out to the "Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth." But notice that pro-gay activist reps have added TWO separate amendments to raise that to $1,025,000.

  Department of Public Health

4590-0250 For school health services and school-based health centers in public and non-public schools; provided, that no funds shall be expended in the AA object class for any personnel-related costs; provided further, that services shall include, but not be limited to:(1) strengthening the infrastructure of school health services in the areas of personnel and policy development, programming, and interdisciplinary collaboration; (2) developing linkages between school health services programs and community health providers; (3) incorporating health education programs, including tobacco prevention and cessation activities in school curricula and in the provision of school based health services; and (4) incorporating obesity prevention programs, including nutrition and wellness programs in school curricula to address the nutrition and lifestyle habits needed for healthy development; provided further, that not less than $300,000 shall be expended for mental health and substance abuse services in school-based health centers; provided further, that not less than $350,000 shall be expended for the governor's commission on gay and lesbian youth; and provided further, that the services shall meet standards and eligibility guidelines established by the department of public health in consultation with the department of education.... $15,760,309

  Amendment #348
Representative(s) Elizabeth Malia of Boston, Tom Sannicandro of Ashland, Kathi-Anne Reinstein of Revere, James Eldridge of Acton, Michael Rush of Boston, Carl Sciortino of Somerville, Douglas Petersen of Marlbehead, Timothy Toomey of Cambridge, Peter V. Kocot of Northhampton, Patricia Haddad of Somerset, David Linksy of Natick, Alice Wolf of Cambridge, Jeffrey Sanchez of Boston, Marty Walz of Boston, Cory Atkins of Concord, Denise Provost of Somerville and Jay Kaufman of Lexington moves that the bill be amended in Section 2, in line 15, in item 4590-0250, by striking out the following: “350,000” and inserting in place thereof the following: “1,025,000”

Amendment #620 Representative Coakley-Rivera of Springfield moves that the bill be amended in Section 2, in line 15, in item 4590-0250, by striking out the following: “350,000” and inserting in place thereof the following: “1,025,000”.

And here's a Department of Education item, with last year's $75,000 for the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth -- with an amendment raising that to $800,000!! Thus, we now have a total of $1,825,000 going to the "Governor's Commission" -- more than 4 times last year's total and more than 7 times the previous year.

  Department of Education

7010-0005 For the operation of the department of education; provided, that the department, in collaboration with the governor's commission on gay and lesbian youth, shall allocate not less than $75,000 for programming to ensure public schools' compliance with the board of education's recommendations for the support and safety of gay and lesbian students and the implementation of related suicide-prevention and violence-prevention efforts; and provided further, that not later than November 15, 2006, the department shall submit a progress report to the secretary of administration and finance, the chairs of the house and senate ways and means committees, and the house and senate chairs of the joint committee on education on efforts by the department to further define and advance the strategic vision of the department, along with a detailed implementation plan for realizing that vision...... $10,631,796

Amendment #632 Representative Coakley-Rivera of Springfield moves that the bill be amended in Section 2, in line 3, in item 7010-0005, by striking out the figures “75,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “800,000”.

And there's more. The following budget items will probably add hundreds of thousands of dollars more to the homosexual programs in the schools. . .

Here's nearly $300,000 for a "Youth Suicide Prevention Program." This is most likely a homosexual program in disguise.

  4513-9083
[D.P.H.]
For the purposes of a federally funded grant entitled, Massachusetts Youth Suicide Prevention Program........ $299,841

This is another half million for an "AIDS Education Program." Every AIDS education program we've seen has had a strong dose of homosexuality. Keep in mind that the "Little Black Book" was published as an AIDS Education book -- by the publicly funded AIDS Action Committee.

  7032-0228
[D.O.E.]
For the purposes of a federally funded grant entitled, Massachusetts AIDS Education Program............ $505,278

How much of this $4.8 million goes to the "violence outreach to gay and lesbian youth"? It doesn't say, so there's no way to tell.

  4513-1130
[D.P.H.]
For the domestic violence and sexual assault prevention and treatment program; provided, that of the amount appropriated in this item, funds shall be expended for rape prevention and victim services, including the statewide Spanish language hotline for sexual abuse and statewide suicide and violence prevention outreach to gay and lesbian youth......... $4,869,066

THIS SENATE budget item also has a "suicide outreach to gay and lesbian youth" but it doesn't say how much of the $9.4 million it gets. And there are millions in this budget item that it could come from.

    SENATE

4513-1000 For the operation of the bureau of family health services; provided, that no funds shall be expended in the AA object class for any personnel-related costs; provided further, that funds shall be expended on family planning clinics, rape crisis centers and primary care services for women and children; provided further, that not less than $800,000 shall be expended on the Refugees and Immigrant Safety and Empowerment program; provided further, that not less than $450,000 shall be directed to community health centers to provide maternal-child health services through combined primary care; provided further, that not less than $200,000 shall be expended for ROCA, Inc., for outreach and youth development for at-risk youth and young adults in Chelsea, Revere, and East Boston; provided further, that $150,000 shall be expended on the Governor’s Committee on Physical Fitness and Sports; provided further, that $150,000 shall be allocated for a statewide hotline and other efforts to further implement Chapter 91 of the Acts of 2005, the Emergency Contraception statute; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Molly Bish Institute for Child Safety at Mount Wachusett Community College; provided further, that $50,000 shall be expended for Falmouth Family Planning; and provided further, that of the amount appropriated in this item, funds may be expended for rape prevention and victim services, including the statewide Spanish language hotline for sexual abuse, family planning services, the Northeastern University conflict resolution program, Latinas y Ninos and statewide suicide and violence prevention outreach to gay and lesbian youth .............. $ 9,406,787
