Hardcore homosexual newspaper honors Lexington Schools Superintendent Paul Ash. His message to parents who want notification on teaching homosexuality to their kids: "Yes, you do have rights. You can choose not to send your child to a public school." [Dec. 29]

Bay Windows, the hardcore Boston homosexual newspaper which has published some of the most pornographic, anti-religious (particularly anti-Catholic) and genuinely hateful material one can imagine, has honored Lexington School Superintendent Paul Ash as one of their five "people who made a difference" in 2006.

Ash has become well known for his vociferous opposition to parent David Parker's right (and any parent's right) to be notified when their elementary school children are exposed to homosexuality, or taught to affirm homosexuality, by an adult. Ash has also written and spoken in the media about his insistence that homosexual issues are not covered in the state Parental Notification Law (which is supposed to cover "human sexuality issues"), and that parents are to be given no choice in these matters.

In the Bay Windows article, Ash certainly doesn't disappoint his audience. A few of his quotes:

[Regarding teaching homosexuality in the schools:] "The district was committed to a certain set of values that I agreed with, so my job was to support that. But I also deeply believe that this is a civil rights issue . . . Do you stand up for what you believe are fundamental human rights? Are you really going to stand up when you're under a lot of pressure and say, this is what I believe, this is what we believe, and we are not going to be bullied by you?" said Ash.

[Regarding parental rights:] "When anybody's been willing to listen to me I say, yes, you do have rights. You can choose not to send your child to a public school. But you don't have the right to tell us what we can teach or not teach unless you want to run for school committee, find a majority of the members of the school committee and then hire a superintendent who's consistent with that philosophy. But as an individual citizen you don't have the right to tell a first grade teacher what to teach or not teach," said Ash. "But I must tell you that the parents' rights argument resonates with a lot of people in America."

You simply cannot underestimate how repugnant this is to the average parents, who pays taxes and tryng hard to raise their children with proper values and beliefs. It resonates of Jim Crow, or worse. Unfortunately Ash represents just the tip of the iceberg in the public school system, which has been infiltrated over the years by some very radical and despotic people.

This is why all good citizens - not just a few - MUST be willing to confront this. As you can clearly see by this, the homosexual movement is deadly serious about proselytizing your children against your will, doing whatever it takes. Get involved, for the sake of all parents and children!

Here's the link to the entire Bay Windows article.

NOTE: The Bay Windows article praising Ash (and blaming MassResistance!) has a number of misrepresentations and outright lies, which may even be libelous. (But then again, this is a homosexual newspaper!) For example, Bay Windows states that Brian Camenker posted Ash's home telephone number. That is a blatant lie. We don't even know his home phone number. We only posted Ash's office number, which we got from the City of Lexington website. It completely misrepresents David Parker's intentions in the lawsuit, saying that he wants to control what children to say to each other. It also claims that Ash got a "death threat" which has not been documented to our knowledge.

David Parker's federal civil rights lawsuit  - Oral arguments to take place Feb. 7 in US District Court in Boston! [Dec. 29]

After months of delay, the oral arguments for David Parker's federal civil rights lawsuit against school and town officials in Lexington is scheduled to take place Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 2 pm in the US District Court in South Boston, before Judge Marc Wolf. (A few days ago it had been announced that it would be Jan. 18, but apparently the defendants asked that it be pushed back even more.)

At this "oral arguments" session, the defendants (the Lexington public officials) will try to persuade the judge not to allow the case to continue. And David Parker's lawyers will be countering that - with arguments that the case MUST be allowed to be heard!

The Parkers, along with Rob and Robin Wirthlin, are suing the Lexington officials (including Superintendent Paul Ash) over the school system's refusal to notify parents of elementary school children when adults present topics homosexuality or transgenderism to the kids. Parents have been told that the schools will not notify them even after these things have taken place!

David Parker was arrested and spent the night in jail in April, 2005, over his insistence that they notify him - as required by state law - regarding homosexuality being presented to his son in kindergarten.

This lawsuit has gotten national attention, and major pro-homosexual groups such as Human Rights Campaign in Washington, DC, as well as the ACLU have begun giving legal support to the school system against David Parker.

ACLU Board Member disrupts peaceful pro-marriage rally, then files phony "assault" charge against prominent Catholic activist Larry Cirignano. (Just the latest in series of outrages.) Could also be charged with "hate crime"! (TAKE ACTION!) [Dec. 20]

In probably the most outrageous display of harassment and intimidation, an ACLU Board member who staged an ugly disruption of a peaceful pro-marriage rally this past Saturday morning is now following it up with an attempt to bring formal assault charges against Larry Cirignano, Executive Director of Catholic Vote. The alleged "assault" appears to have been also staged for the purpose of bringing forth the charges.

And the Worcester police - who have a record of cooperating with the homosexual community - have filed a formal assault and battery complaint against Larry. And according to newspaper reports they are investigating whether he committed a "hate crime".

See for yourself.  Watch this video (and see photos) of the "peaceful" homosexual activists who showed up at the pro-marriage rally in Worcester.

Here's what really happened. We talked to people who were there, and who witnessed the entire incident.

VoteOnMarriage had an official permit to use the area of the City Hall steps for their pro-marriage rally. When the homosexual activists began to show up there, the police told them that they had to leave that area, and could demonstrate on the nearby sidewalk, but only if they kept moving. So the homosexuals went to the sidewalk but after a short time stopped moving and simply stood there shouting at the pro-marriage people. The police did nothing. And rather than stay on the sidewalk, the homosexual activists walked back into the rally.  They bumped, jostled, and heckled the audience and the speakers, and banged on drums, etc

The pro-marriage supporters had gathered in a large circle around a podium to hear the speakers. At one point during the speeches Sarah Loy walked into that area and stood almost directly in front of the podium, facing the crowd, holding a pro-homosexual sign. Loy is a member of the Board of Directors of the Worcester County Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

When the police did nothing to stop Loy (according to some, the police were not in the immediate area at all), Larry Cirignano, an organizer of the event and Executive Director of CatholicVote, approached her and asked her to leave. She refused. He asked her again, and she refused. So, with one arm (he was holding a notebook with his other arm) he led her away from the podium. A few yards further, when they reached the crowd of pro-marriage spectators, Larry started to walk away from Loy. But after several steps he turned around and was surprised to see she was on the ground - though strangely, lying perpendicular to the direction in which she had been moving.

As one witness told us, "To me, you could tell it was likely a setup. Everybody got that impression. It was done to provoke, to stir up." .

And for this absurd stunt by an ACLU board member, Larry is facing assault and battery charges - and according to newspaper reports, the police are investigating whether this constitutes a "hate crime"! Of course, this further exposes the true nature of the ACLU as a group that does its best to subvert the civil liberties of most Americans and, like the homosexual movement, to intimidate anyone in its path. But this is outrageous even by those standards.

As usual, the press drops the ball . . .

Tuesday's Boston Globe had this short blurb:

Catholic group leader faces assault charge
Boston Globe, Tuesday, 12/19/2006

The executive director of a Catholic group will be charged with simple assault and battery after he allegedly pushed an advocate of same-sex marriage during a rally Saturday, Worcester police said yesterday. The charge against Larry Cirignano of Catholic Citizenship -- a nonpartisan organization founded by Raymond Flynn, a former Boston mayor, that promotes political activism among Catholics -- is a misdemeanor, police said. A court date will be scheduled after a summons is issued by Worcester Central District Court, police said.

The Worcester Telegram's report was a bit more descriptive. Of course, it included some sloppy journalism: They quote a director of the local ACLU commenting on the situation, without mentioning that the person involved is also a director of that same organization! And some of their facts are at odds what witnesses told us. But they also add that "Police are still investigating whether a hate crime occurred."

Read the whole Worcester Telegram article here.

[After the rally broke up, the homosexual activists walked over and gathered in a circle around one of their "clergy". While some of the rally attendees watched, they began chanting pagan-like prayers to "re-consecrate the ground" from the "hate" that had taken place there!]

Read Boston Globe Feb. 21 coverage of hearing: "Foe of gay marriage to face assault case."

MassResistance says: This intimidation must stop now!

Is this Nazi Germany?  Is this the prelude to another Kristallnacht?

For some reason, the homosexual “community” feels that it can very publicly (and privately) disrupt, intimidate, harass, and threaten any innocent person who wants exercise his civil rights to participate in the public forum of ideas, debate, and government. And – also reminiscent of that ugly period – the police and other public officials who are supposed to protect the people are often at best mere uncommitted observers and at worst collaborators when these incidents take place.  And the media either ignore it or serve as inflamers against the innocent.

  • It was just a year ago that hundreds of militant homosexual activists stormed outside a church in downtown Boston because they were holding an ex-gay event inside. Among other things, they dragged coffins to the church doors and had parked a sound truck blasting threatening and obscene chants. Boston riot police were needed to keep them from entering the church – but the police allowed them to illegally block the street and commit their threatening acts for hours, until they dispersed on their own. (It was only weeks after this that our MassResistance volunteer who documented this had her home broken into by activists who identified their cause by a message they left behind.)
    http://www.massresistance.org/docs/events05/love_won_out/

  • Last February a similar outrage happened in downtown Worcester, where riot police were needed to protect an event sponsored by a church, from militant homosexual activists. The mayor of Worcester – Lt. Gov-elect Tim Murray – and the police chief not only showed public support for the homosexual activists, but charged the church group over $6,000 for the police “protection” they received!
    http://massresistance.org/docs/events06/MrHetero/

  • The recent “Liberty Sunday” indoor pro-marriage event in a downtown Boston church also required police to protect the participants as they were leaving the building. Homosexual activists blocked the street and screamed threatening and intimidating epithets at them while marching with signs.
[We'll be posting the video of this soon!]

  • At last month’s VoteOnMarriage rally on the steps of the State House, hundreds of homosexual militants came with hateful signs and banners (and a defaced American flag), and loudly booed, chanted, and hissed during the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing “God Bless America”, and also while the speakers were attempting to address their supporters who had gathered.
    See the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaLsE-y1TQE

  • Over the last several weeks, they have stalked the VoteOnMarriage organizers around the state as they’ve held rallies in Springfield and now in Worcester, and done the most hideous and uncivilized types of actions of intimidation and personal harassment against both the participants and organizers.  This completely false and bogus “assault” charge is just the next step in this campaign of terror.

Just read the history books and even look at some of the film and pictures from the early 1930s to see the eerie resemblance to what’s happening here and now.  Free citizens must not take this lightly.

There is no precedent in Massachusetts for any group of people having the ability, carte blanche, to publicly terrorize and intimidate and threaten innocent people who simply want to exercise their civil rights.

TAKE ACTION - Call the phone numbers listed above!

The time to just sit back and take it is over. Free Americans had better be willing to confront this or lose their freedoms forever.

United Church of Christ pastor declares traditional family is "idolatry" . Parents objecting to public schools discussing sex-change operations with third-graders is "mean-spirited narrow-mindedness". [Dec. 11]

A few weeks back we had an article by Newton Tab columnist Tom Mountain exposing the horrific ordeal of Emer O'Shea. Her third-grade daughter's class was taught about cross-dressing and transsexuality by a GLSEN activist who works in the Franklin Elementary School in Newton, which the girl attended. Mrs. O'Shea complained, and for her efforts she was mistreated and demeaned by the school to a point where she finally enrolled her daughter in a private Catholic school.  This caused outrage across the country!

Well, the liberals in Newton don't like any challenge to their authority. So soon afterwards, the response in the Newton Tab came in the form of a ghastly op-ed column by a well-known minister. and also some truly bizarre letters, including one by a "transgender" woman/man with kids in the schools.

The newspaper op-ed article is by Pastor Richard Malmberg who runs the Second Church of Newton (United Church of Christ) and is currently chairman of the Newton Clergy Association. He declares that acceptance of the traditional family structure is "idolatry." He adds that "Gender configuration of the parents is irrelevant to what makes a family." Is this what the future holds? What madness is this? For those of you who've have no idea what the neo-pagan churches actually preach, this will open up your eyes. It's probably a lot like the 1930s Europe, in many ways.

This is how bad it's gotten already - and the train is still moving pretty fast. . .

We've also included a great rebuttal by David Parker, and excellent coverage of this in the Pilot -- the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of Boston.

Read the articles and letters here.

Read the letter Mitt Romney sent to the Log Cabin Republicans in 1994. You WILL be shocked. [Dec. 11]

Well, the homosexual newspaper "Bay Windows" is good for something. They dug up this!  It's the letter that Mitt Romney wrote to the Log Cabin Republicans in 1994 seeking their endorsement, and pandering to them in every way possible. According to the Bay Windows report, Romney's people have acknowledged that it's genuine, but don't really have much more to say about it.

Of course, this is just a small part of our total documentation, which has been flooding the conservative end of the Internet, and has been referred to (without attribution, naturally) by Dick Morris, Jerry Falwell, Tony Perkins, and many others.

Homosexual lobby holds fundraiser for new "Commission on GLBT Youth". Now pushing transgenderism in public schools. Their new slogan: "These kids are our kids!" [Dec. 4]

There should be no question now that the homosexual movement's center for experimenting with kids is Massachusetts.

Just a few months ago the Legislature created a new, super-charged, "independent" Commission for Gay and Lesbian Youth (in a stealth manner: as a budget item to avoid a public hearing) which by law must include representatives of the most dangerous homosexual activists groups in the state. And they funded it with several hundred thousand dollars of your taxpayer money. And this Commission answers to no one in government; it has carte blanche to go into the public schools and can also intervene with other state agencies that might get in its way.

Well, that's not enough for them. They are also using a specially created non-profit group, "The Friends of the Governor's Commission," to raise even more money for this hideous Commission -- they can now raise unlimited sums from private donors.  On Nov. 12 they held a fundraiser at the downtown Hyatt Regency Hotel. (We have some pictures.)

Not only did the "Friends" raise money, but they announced the Commission's new direction: pushing transgenderism (which includes everything from cross-dressing to promoting operations to have your body mutilated to "change" your sex) in the public schools. The keynote speaker was a female-to-male, now a 21-year-old college student who has joined the group's Board of Directors. And they now include Bisexual and Transgender in their official name.

And their literature makes very clear how they see the state's schoolchildren: "These kids are our kids!"

Boston Herald names left-wing anti-family editor in chief. Say goodbye to "conservative" news point of view. [Dec. 4]

Last week the Boston Herald named Kevin Convey, a longtime Herald staffer, as the newspaper's new Editor-in-Chief, replacing Ken Chandler who is leaving to do independent consulting.

This move appears to be a capstone of sorts in the Herald news department's move to the left over the past several years. In our observations, Convey holds some of the most radical views on the Herald staff and is not afraid to voice them. In a telephone conversation we once had with him, he angrily portrayed those who are critical of the homosexual movement as fringe, and not worthy of coverage in any unbiased manner.

For a few years Convey was the head of the Community Newspaper chain of local newspapers, while it was owned by the Herald. During that period many of those local papers became noticeably more slanted in the way they approached social issues, largely, we believe, by the lack of company-wide standards regarding bias and the hiring of particularly opinionated editors.

Of course, the rival Boston Globe is no bowl of cherries, as everyone knows. The head news editor there is Helen Donovan, a self-identified lesbian who once, in response to a complaint, angrily called our office and told us that she had no problem with homosexual reporters writing articles on homosexual issues and events. So there!

Here's the Herald's article on Convey taking the helm:
http://business.bostonherald.com/businessNews/view.bg?articleid=169346

And of course, it's already happening at the Herald.
Here's a puff-piece article in Sunday's Herald that includes the "husband" or the late former US Rep Gerry Studds lamenting that he can't get his "spouse's" federal pension.

Last Friday's World AIDS Day provided a platform in the schools for more disinformation. [Dec. 4]

Although it was largely "under the radar" (i.e., kept quiet from parents) "World AIDS Day" was nevertheless a fairly major event in public schools (even elementary schools!) throughout Massachusetts this past Friday. Depending on the school, it was "commemorated" with posters, announcements, handouts, workshops, assemblies, and even fundraising.

World AIDS Day is part of the growing pantheon of the national homosexual movement's official "holidays" throughout the school year, which also include National Coming Out Day in October and the Day of Silence in May.

On World AIDS Day, the message that is NOT taught to children is that AIDS is completely avoidable - by simply not engaging in certain destructive behaviors.

Instead, kids are given a two-fold message of disinformation. First, the fact that AIDS is spread by heterosexual contact in some underdeveloped countries overseas (thus, "World" AIDS Day) to is used to confuse the fact that in America and most of the developed world nearly 80% of AIDS cases stem from homosexual activity, and drug use - which they completely ignore in their message to kids. Thus, they tell children that AIDS is a universal disease that "anyone" can get, and also there should be no behavioral stigma attached to it. And secondly, they tell children that it's condoms, not avoidance of behaviors, that will prevent AIDS. In fact, condoms are not effective in stopping AIDS. The clear implication is that one's behavior should not be suppressed.

World AIDS Day serves the propaganda purposes of the homosexual movement, but as usual, your children are the ones who will suffer for it.

Common example of "World AIDS Day" reporting:
Boston Herald article on Sunday on immigrants from Africa, the Caribbean, and South America coming here with HIV who caught the disease, it says, through torture in their home countries. While this is certainly tragic, it skews the big picture terribly. But this is the kind of message kids get in school about AIDS.

MassResistance banquet a great success, incredible speech by Stephen Bennett, despite threats from homosexual activists! [Nov. 28]

Yes, the message got out! On Nov. 14, close to 200 people gathered at the Holiday Inn in Boxboro and heard a blockbuster speech by ex-homosexual Stephen Bennett, now married with two kids, who was there with his wife, Irene. Stephen talked about his spiritual journey out of homosexuality after many years, the lies and propaganda that the homosexual community spreads, and the dangers of that movement, especially to children.

There is no such thing as "a homosexual" Stephen told us. Homosexuality is not what you are. It's what you do. Their movement wants to hide that. He also discussed the rage that homosexuals have against anyone who criticizes their movement and the psychological issues behind it.

Stephen Bennett's message is so powerful that homosexual activists around the country try to harass him when he speaks. The Boxboro police told us the day before that they felt we needed to hire a police officer to be at the event. Then, a few hours before the event we got another call from the Boxboro police - that there had been threats and more police presence was needed. Nothing happened, though. (Maybe they decided it was too dark and isolated to just stand outside and demonstrate.) And basically, they're cowards.

We were joined by special guests (including Rep. Emile Goguen and candidates in recent state races), wonderful speeches (including David Parker), and more.

For those of you who missed it, we will have a DVD of the event available soon, which is now actually being broadcast on some cable TV stations. More info on that coming up.

Mother forced to remove daughter from school after "transgender" and transvestism taught in third grade without parents' knowledge! GLSEN member employed by school and brought into classroom! You will NOT believe this. . . [Nov. 8]

Superintendent says it's a "teachable moment" so not covered under state parental notification laws.

The following article was published in Wednesday's Newton Tab, by columnist Tom Mountain, regarding an incident in the Franklin Elementary School in Newton, Massachusetts. In the hours since the article appeared, enormous outrage has been generated throughout the area. Lexington parent David Parker, who was arrested over the teaching of homosexuality to his kindergartner and is now suing the school system, issued a powerful statement (below the article).

How soon will this be happening in YOUR school?  How long will good people continue to be afraid to speak out publicly, and leave the activism to others? You must get involved now!

Nightmare at Franklin
By Tom Mountain
The Newton Tab
Wednesday, November 8, 2006
http://www.townonline.com/newton/opinion/view.bg?articleid=610359

Emer O'Shea knew something was wrong the minute she picked up her daughter from Franklin Elementary School. The third-grader was normally very perky upon seeing her mother and new baby sister, but this time she glanced at her mother without indicating what was wrong, except to say that the school's social worker had visited the class. But Emer soon heard from another parent about what had happened in her daughter's class that day, and she was both stunned and mortified. The next day her young daughter finally opened up with a question that would baffle most parents of an 8-year-old child, "Mommy, is it possible for a man to have an operation to become a woman?"

Transgenders and transvestites. These were the topics that a staff member at Franklin School in West Newton chose to teach to a class of third-grade children. The school's social worker described to the children that some men like to dress up as women, and yes, some men even have operations to change into women.

The opportunity for this "teachable moment" - the kind that Superintendent Jeff Young likes to portray as merely responding to some child's "random questioning"- occurred when the social worker was describing various families outside of the traditional mommy-and-daddy norm and showed the class a picture of a woman with two children, asking what they saw in the picture. A child then raised his hand to tell her (are you sitting sit down for this?) that he thought the picture was of a man who had a sex change operation and was now a woman. Apparently, the child's own father was undergoing such an operation (which he/she has since completed).

The social worker then elaborated on this "teachable moment." But this wasn't just any social worker employed by the Newton Public Schools. This was Laura Perkins, former board member of GLSEN, the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network; or rather, "Laura Perkins, MSW, Franklin School and the Newton Early Childhood Program," according to the GLSEN Boston Conference, where she hosted a seminar in which the "Rationale for integrating GLBT (Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender) issues in the early elementary years will be presented" and "classroom lessons demonstrated."

As a result of this particular "classroom lesson," Emer's daughter was petrified. For an 8-year-old accustomed to a child's world of Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny, the little girl had nightmares, and explained to her mother she was scared that her baby sister could turn into a boy.
So Emer did what any normal responsible parent would do - she demanded an explanation from the principal, Cynthia Marchand. She and several other parents from this class met with the principal who, according to Emer, responded defensively and fully backed her staff member.

Emer then went to Superintendent's Young's office with her concerns. She handed Mr. Young a written description of what happened, whereupon the superintendent promised to respond to her soon. He didn't. So after three weeks, she called to make an appointment. As Emer described it, Mr. Young remarked that the Parental Consent Law didn't apply to this situation because, he claimed, the topic of discussion was not planned for. He concluded that it was really just "a teachable moment."  When I asked the superintendent via e-mail if it is the policy of the Newton schools to teach 8-year-old children about sex change operations, he responded "No").

"Arrogant" is how Emer described the superintendent's demeanor towards her. He declined to shake her hand at the meeting's end, and didn't even bother to acknowledge the baby she was holding.

The superintendent wants us to believe that just because the class was taught by a GLSEN activist who has specialized in "integrating GLBT issues in the elementary years" and even though the principal, social worker and probably half the school knew that there was a child in that very class who just happened to have a father who was undergoing a sex change operation, there is no evidence that this was planned, or rather, set up. So, in Mr. Young's convoluted logic, the state law which mandates that parents must be informed whenever anything of a sexual nature occurs in the classroom did not apply here.

It just happened, you see. A mere coincidence. Just like a few years before when a Burr School first-grade teacher chose to out himself to his first-grade class. This was a hide-from-the-media moment for the superintendent, since it was later revealed in Bay Windows, the Boston gay weekly, that the teacher had discussed this probable scenario with his principal well in advance of his proclamation to his class of 6-year-olds.

Predictably, Emer got nowhere with the school administration. She went through the typical phases that any parent who raises these issues is forced to endure. The stalling, ignoring, belittling. The attempts to isolate her, put her on the defensive, make her feel like the aggressor - the intolerant, unsympathetic, backward parent: common tactics to make parents like Emer go away. After all, Mr. Young and his cohorts now have years of experience dealing with such parents.

But Emer would not go away.

Fed up at the lack of response from the school, she raised the issue in front of a large audience of staff and parents at Franklin's curriculum night. "Can we see the social worker's curriculum for this year, as last year there was inappropriate information given to the elementary-age children?" she publicly asked Cynthia Marchand. In other words, could the principal guarantee that staff members would not teach the young children about men having sex change operations? To which the principal responded that she would speak to Emer in private about it (a preferred tactic by Newton administrators). Emer would not back down; after 10 months of being ignored she demanded an answer right then and there. But the principal wouldn't budge.

As Emer described it, afterwards Mrs. Marchand coaxed her into her office, whereupon she loudly chastised Emer for "her inappropriate behavior." She berated Emer because (you'd better sit down again for this) the Franklin School father who had a sex change operation and was now a "woman" had been sitting in the audience with his wife (they're still married) when Emer broached this highly sensitive topic. "Cindy, stop shouting at me!" Emer responded to her child's principal. (My calls to the principal and social worker for comment were not returned, but Mr. Young did respond by e-mail: "No," the social worker and principal would not be suspended or reprimanded, he wrote. He ducked my question as to whether or not he intended to apologize to Mrs. O'Shea, stating that he and other staff had already "spoken with the parent already.")

Emer had enough. She decided to pull her daughter out of the Newton Public Schools and, at great expense, send her to a private school. (Mr. Young again responded "No" when I asked if the school department would be paying for the child's private school tuition). A few days later, she walked into the Franklin office once again, this time with her now fourth-grade daughter and infant baby to inform the principal and secretary that her child would no longer be attending Franklin School. "Good," Mrs. Marchand allegedly responded, in the presence of Emer, the secretary, a teacher and Emer's daughter. The principal then turned and walked away.

Think of that. Think real hard.

STATEMENT BY DAVID PARKER:

This latest incident at a Newton Elementary school is absolutely shocking and appalling. We have arrived at a time in history where school administrators are preaching the gospel of human secularism to their captive audience in the public classroom. They coercively proclaim; there are no boundaries of gender, sexual expression, or marriage to young impressionable children.

They arrogantly trespass upon parental rights and balk at any restrictions on their indoctrination. They mercilessly thrust their immoral beliefs upon innocence, implanting the seeds of depraved ideologies into young impressionable psyches.

I don't know what disgusts me more; those who do this to children in our public schools or the parents who watch silently and do nothing.

David Parker's situation covered here:

PS: Almost as upsetting is reaction by the Boston Globe and Boston Herald. As they seem to become more and more pro-gay in their news coverage, they seem to be less and less interested in covering these issues. We spoke to reporters at both papers and they just didn't seem interested! "We'll tell the editor about it" both papers told us. In Thursday's papers there was . . . nothing. But it's starting to sound like another reason not to subscribe to newspapers anymore!

Nov. 7 legislative elections a pro-family disaster as Deval tidal wave (and Republican incompetence) prove overwhelming! [Nov. 8]

Weeks ago we saw a lot of close races on the horizon that should have been won -- but unfortunately were (mostly) lost. There were a lot of really great looking, smart challengers up against a lot of the same old thick-headed pols who could use a dose of the private sector. But Tuesday wasn't the day for it. The homosexual lobby is claiming that it spent over a million dollars to change your Legislature. Well, throwing money around the state (especially the stealth-like way they have to do it to keep from the public noticing where it's coming from) can only take you so far, and can sometimes backfire. However, a combination of things can be pretty tough to beat. We've got the results here, both good and bad:

Be careful what you wish for: Arizona marriage ballot question loses 51%-49%. It could happen here, says latest poll.

In Tuesday's election, ballot initiatives to define marriage as one man and one woman won fairly decisively in seven states: Colorado, Georgia, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

But in Arizona, a ballot question to define marriage as one man and one woman lost 51%-49%. Arizona, like Massachusetts, has an openly homosexual Congressman. And both the homosexual movement and Planned Parenthood have footholds there.

Consider this news article from yesterday's Boston Herald:

Poll: Gay wed ban deserves a vote
Boston Herald
Tuesday, November 7, 2006

State House News poll results released Sunday show 56 percent of respondents say that when the Massachusetts Legislature meets in Thursday's Constitutional Convention, members should advance a ban on gay marriage. However, if the ban reaches the ballot, 63 percent of poll respondents would vote against it and 31 percent would vote for it.

The Legislature had met in July for a Constitutional Convention but never voted on the controversial measure. On Thursday, the proposal must get 50 votes -- 25 percent of the state's 200 lawmakers -- to advance to the next legislative session. It would have to pass by the same margin in 2007 to be put on the 2008 ballot.

This poll seems believable in light of the turnout for Deval Patrick!

We think one can reasonably assume that the homosexual lobby would raise many millions of dollars for the biggest PR campaign in years for such an election. Suppose there's a statewide vote "of the people" and our side loses?  Then what? No one seems to want to think about that.

This is particularly ironic, since homosexual "marriage" is still illegal in Massachusetts. As anyone who reads the Goodridge ruling could see, the SJC never claimed to change the law in its decision (it only suggested that the Legislature do it, but it didn't) and by any objective Constitutional standard the governor should not have not begun this ridiculous charade back in May, 2004.  Something to ponder.

What the press isn't telling you about the Nov. 9 Constitutional Convention: There are TWO marriage amendments scheduled to be voted on !! [Nov. 6]

When the Legislature met in constitutional convention back in July, they had 20 items to cover. And the most talked-about item, the VoteOnMarriage amendment, was conveniently placed at #20. Well, they got through about half of them before postponing the convention until this coming Thursday, Nov. 9.

But what is less known is that #19 is also a constitutional amendment on marriage! MassResistance originally had it introduced as a bill in 2005, not a constitutional amendment. Its language is from the 2002 constitutional amendment promoted by Ed Pawlick and Mass. Citizens for Marriage. It's what a piece of such legislation SHOULD be -- it doesn't wimp out and try to be "moderate" on something as important as this. It bans ALL homosexual marriages and all look-alike, sound-alike domestic partnerships, civil unions, etc. In fact, this is how most states word their amendments.

But how did #19 become a constitutional amendment, from being a bill?  Good question. It took us by surprise. When we looked into it, we see the kind of sleaze and lying and general corruption that we're used to at the State House. It seems that Sen. Jarrett Barrios (D-Cambridge, who is "married" to another man) admits to having engineered much of this, for some strategic reason the homosexual lobby might have.
For some thoughts on why, see the MassResistance blog:
http://massresistance.blogspot.com/2006/11/marriage-amendments-at-nov-9-concon.html

And for some reason, the press just won't talk about it. Reporters will acknowledge to us that they're aware of it, but it hasn't shown up (that we know) in any news stories whatsoever. It's similar to the apparent blackout on the Margaret Marshall story about her conduct violations.

Anyway, here is the language of the two amendments, which (so the leaders claim) will come up for discussion and vote on Thursday. Number 19 is "tight" and number 20 is, shall we say, a bit looser -- allowing for CURRENT gay "marriages" to continue to be acknowledged, and doesn't ban civil unions, domestic partnerships, etc. (In fact, Gov. Romney has said that he would propose domestic partnerships if #20 passed!)

Item #19: (From MassResistance - Needs 50% vote of Legislature)
"It being the public policy of this Commonwealth to protect the unique relationship of marriage in order to promote, among other goals, the stability and welfare of society and the best interests of children, only the union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in Massachusetts. Any other relationship shall not be recognized as a marriage or its legal equivalent, nor shall it receive the benefits or incidents exclusive to marriage from the Commonwealth, its agencies, departments, authorities, commissions, offices, officials and political subdivisions."

Item #20: (From VoteOnMarriage - Needs 25% vote of Legislature)
"When recognizing marriages entered into after the adoption of this amendment by the people, the Commonwealth and its political subdivisions shall define marriage only as the union of one man and one woman."

What will happen? We'll know more -- hopefully -- on Thursday!

WRKO radio host John DePetro fired for "anti-gay" remark. Call the station and sound off! [Nov. 6]

This one's been on the front page of both Boston newspapers for the last few days. As many of you have heard, WRKO talk show host John DePetro was fired on Friday for referring to Green-Rainbow gubernatorial candidate Grace Ross as a "fat lesbian" during his 9am-noon radio show on Thursday.

What has stunned people, of course, was that WRKO allows some of the vulgar and offensive material to be aired. Also, on other WRKO shows there seems to be no problem with anti-religion, anti-traditional values, and downright hateful comments aimed at pro-family people. In that context the remark by DePetro was very tame. And in fact, Grace Ross admits to being a lesbian and is visibly overweight.

DePetro has featured MassResistance's Brian Camenker on his show as a guest, and also David Parker on several occasions. In addition, he's had various parents who have battled the homosexual agenda in their local schools, as on-air guests. It would appear that DePetro has upset the pro-homosexual types who run much of Boston's media. Back in July, DePetro was suspended for two days for using the term "fag Matt" to describe the head of the "Big Dig" project -- another seemingly innocuous remark in the context of the otherwise very vulgar programming on much of WRKO.

Here's a Boston Globe description of the events:
http://www.boston.com/news/local/politics/blog/2006/11/depetro_tells_g.html

On Saturday, the Boston Herald this absurd editorial defending the firing was published:
http://news.bostonherald.com/editorial/view.bg?articleid=165589

WRKO vice president of programming Jason Wolfe said this in a statement on Friday: "In the context of what he said and the tone with which he said it, the comments were completely inappropriate, derogatory and will not be tolerated." Yeah, right, Jason. It would appear that Mr. Wolfe doesn't listen much to his own station. And from what we can surmise, Wolfe is an arrogant liberal, not very shocking.

Is this the kind of censorship we'll be seeing more of on Boston's talk shows?  TAKE ACTION:

Email WRKO here: http://www.wrko.com/contactus.asp

Or call their switchboard, 617-779-3400, and ask to talk to Jason Wolfe, the vice-president who made the decision to fire DePetro. Let him know why you won't be listening to WRKO anymore.

Conservative Christian private schools listed in hardcore homosexual newspaper, telling how they do not discriminate on the basis of "family composition" in their educational policies! Apparently tricked by ad group. [Oct 30]

When this was brought to our attention, we weren't sure what to think.

What do Westgate Christian Academy, Lexington Christian Academy, and Boston Trinity Academy have in common? They're all considered to be fairly conservative private religious secondary schools. And they are among 58 private schools listed in an advertisement for their "open house programs" in Bay Windows, a pornographic homosexual newspaper, describing how they do discriminate on the basis of "family composition" in "the administration of their education policies."  Well, we were under the impression that these schools (and many of the others listed) would definitely draw a line on same-sex family composition in their education programs. Isn't what why people are fleeing the public schools?

In the October 11 issue of Bay Windows, as you finish reading the article attacking Reed Hillman and the Mass. state police for their efforts to curtail public sex at roadside rest stops and nearby woods, there is the ad -- taking up about a third of a page.

Is this the way to advertise your school?
At the end of an article on public sex, in the Oct. 11 issue of the homosexual newspaper Bay Windows. On right-hand page are ads for gay resorts and same-sex wedding services.

Click here for the full-size version of the ad, with the list of schools.
http://www.massresistance.org/docs/events06/general/schools_adv.pdf

What's going on here, anyway?

We phoned several of the schools. None of the people who answered the phone knew anything about this, but in each case they said a headmaster or somebody would get back to us. We got two calls back within a few hours. A woman at Boston Trinity Academy told us she had no idea who would have put their school in such an ad, was very concerned, and would do her best to find out and get back to us. She added that they never advertise in this way, anywhere.

A representative from Westgate Christian Academy told us that they had paid a nominal fee to a group working through another private school for what they were told would be an ad in the Boston Globe and some other unspecified smaller papers for their open house programs. They were never told that there would be any "family composition" language in the ad, he said. "We'll definitely be spending our money differently in the future," he told us.

It's becoming clear that at least some of these schools were cruelly duped -- though maybe not all of them.

We also spoke to a teacher from one of the schools listed in the ad, whom we know. He talked at length, saying that many parents aren't aware a contingent of very left-wing and radical staff have worked their way into many of these schools, little by little, pushing very extreme agendas, and this could be among the results. Nevertheless, this was definitely a wake-up call for quite a few people!

Just how bad is Bay Windows?
We cannot overestimate how outrageous and destructive this newspaper is. Besides pornography and promotion of a wide range of unbelievable behaviors, they have published the most hateful and chilling attacks on David Parker, various religious figures, and others. Although it's considered to be the "mainstream" homosexual publication in Boston, no reputable school or business would want any connection at all with them.

Here's our report from last year. (Caution: VERY gross and disgusting!)
http://www.article8.org/docs/corps/BayWind/bay_windows.htm

And here's the lead article from this issue, on public sex.

What does the NJ court ruling on "marriage" mean to us? [Oct 30]

Last week the New Jersey Supreme Court handed down a bizarre ruling similar to the Goodridge decision here: that their Constitution requires that same-sex couples have the right to the "benefits" of marriage -- a notion which has up until now eluded people for hundreds of years.

The New Jersey the court gave their legislature 180 days to either (1) change the marriage laws to include two men or two women, or (2) create civil unions legislation offering all the benefits of marriage.

In Massachusetts, the court gave the legislature 180 days to change the marriage laws to include two men or two women. The legislature did nothing, so the governor went forward and set up the machinery to perform these "marriages" on his own. Thus, the mess we're in now.

IWhat will the New Jersey legislature do?  Unfortunately, the ugly precedent is set, and the legislature will probably assume that courts can indeed order laws to be changed whatever reasons they wish, no matter how absurd. And their legislature, like ours, is hopelessly left-wing and predisposed toward the whole idea anyway. There is serious talk about a constitutional amendment, which is certainly possible to do. But nevertheless, the people of New Jersey can't be blamed for thinking they're trapped against their will.

This new debacle gives Massachusetts an interesting opportunity to stand up and show the rest of the country what the right thing to do really is. Suppose our governor, even though he's in the waning weeks of his term, were to declare that since the law never has been changed there is no such thing in Massachusetts as legal same-sex "marriage." Imagine that.

Major US corporations funding legal attacks on David Parker -- and the push for homosexuality in schools! [Oct. 25]

The next time you go to Staples, or use Verizon phone service, do your banking at Bank of America, or choose Comcast for your Internet, or buy a Gillette razor, keep this in mind: you are helping bring the homosexual agenda into your schools, including the elementary schools. And worse than that, you are helping them stop David Parker in his federal civil rights lawsuit to require that he be notified and able to opt out when adults discuss homosexuality or transgenderism with his first-grade son.

This past Saturday night at a fancy fundraiser dinner in downtown Boston these same companies and others donated thousands and thousands of dollars to the "Human Rights Campaign" (HRC), a national hardcore homosexual activist group. HRC calls itself "the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender political organization" and raises money to push the homosexual agenda into public schools and businesses, and to use vicious intimidation tactics against anyone who gets in their way. They are very clear about how they want to change America and its people.

Oh, and did we mention: the keynote speaker of that event was Deval Patrick, Democratic candidate for governor!  And these also include Blue Cross Blue Shield and Tufts Health Plan -- why are health organizations funding this??

See for yourself: Here are links to the HRC fundraising dinner:

Coming out against David Parker

Last month, the Human Rights Campaign (and their alter ego, Human Rights Campaign Foundation) led a group of Massachusetts pro-gay organizations in filing a 24-page "amicus brief" in federal district court against David Parker's lawsuit  -- Parker's attempt to get the Lexington, Mass., school officials to respect his civil rights.

Among many other insidious things, they claim that David Parker's claim is "frivolous", and they go on to say:

The mere lack of congruence between plaintiffs’ religious beliefs and what the Lexington schools have chosen to teach . . . does not state a claim that the defendants have intentionally denigrated the plaintiffs’ religion and are engaged in a campaign to teach the children that the parents’ religious beliefs are wrong.

Worse than that - they make the absurd claim that the child has a "right" to be exposed to homosexuality even if the parents disagree:

If a parent chooses to have his or her child attend the public schools, that child has a right to a broad and high quality public education, not one constrained by individual parental beliefs.

And here's some of their legal logic:

[T]he plaintiffs attempt to avoid a motion to dismiss by resting on what is essentially a flawed syllogism: 1) they have religious beliefs which are disapproving of people who are gay or families headed by gay people; 2) the Lexington schools teach principles of equality, diversity of society, and welcoming of all to the schools, including children who are gay or whose parents are gay; and therefore, 3) the school defendants are intentionally targeting the plaintiffs’ religious views and “campaigning to teach” the plaintiffs’ children “that the family’s religious faith was incorrect.”

And here's what Human Rights Campaign also says in the brief about why they are committed to supporting the defendants (the school officials and teachers) against David Parker:

HRC supports the ability of defendants to provide students with a diversity of viewpoints, regardless of religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

This is what these corporations are funding -- against David Parker and you!

Here's the entire "amicus brief" filed by the Human Rights Campaign, Human Rights Campaign Foundation, and other groups against David Parker.
http://www.massresistance.org/docs/parker_lawsuit/aclu_brief.pdf

And here's the David Parker info on his arrest, harassment, and his lawsuit against the school, etc.
http://www.massresistance.org/docs/parker/index.html

David Parker is funding this mostly out of his own pocket.
The muscle to oppose him is coming from big business. And that same money is also being used to proselytize kids in the public schools in Massachusetts and across America to accept homosexuality, bisexuality, or transsexuality as a normal lifestyle.

What you should do:

People across America need to let these companies know -- in the absolutely strongest terms possible -- that we won't stand for companies using our money to attack us and our children -- and David Parker.

If the people at these businesses don't personally hear from you it will be as if we don't care. If this is not worth an extreme amount of outrage, what is?

Gays claim "big victory" in Hong Kong as courts lower age of consent for homosexual sex to 16.

We couldn't help but notice the buzz and excitement in the homosexual press over the last few days around their "victory" in Hong Kong. With their usual political maneuvering, they got a court to strike down the age-of-consent laws for homosexual sex to 16 years old!  That's right -- men legally going after teenaged boys in high school. Of course, this is nothing new, unfortunately. Last year we reported that they had successfully gotten it down to 16 in Britain, and were now trying to get it down to 12.

Make no mistake about this tragic and destructive movement. Coming to your state before too long.

An observation of the pro-family movement - by John Haskins

This has been floating around the Internet over the last several days days, written by our own John Haskins. We thought it was important enough to reprint here.

"...Americans are the first people in the history of the world to believe that peace is the normal condition of mankind. It’s a dangerous conceit. War, and preparations for war, are the norm." -- Michael Ledeen

Ledeen's insight also describes magnificently the complete failure of the pro-family movement and other "conservatives" to grasp that they are in a war for everything that matters and that the sacrifices and commitment -- and, yes, "radicalism" (that dirty word) -- necessary are far beyond what we are now making. Proudly "pragmatic" moderates control the pro-family movement and "conservatism," whatever that has degenerated into. They ruthlessly, sometimes even viciously, undermine and attempt to humiliate and ostracize any conservative or pro-family leader or group that seems "too radical" for them.

We have seen it over and over again in Massachusetts and the catastrophic consequences of the surrender here will be felt for many generations around the entire country. They manifestly have no grand strategy, no real weapons that would intimidate their enemies, no end game and no concept of offense. How is this possible? It is because their fundamental characteristic is that they are unwilling to acknowledge that the enemies of their children are waging war on them. A war for everything.

Why is this so hard for "respectable conservatives" to face? Because it would require real sacrifices in standard of living, social acceptance, and leisurely lifestyle. It is far more comfortable to continue endlessly splitting the difference between good and evil until there is no more good left to split, snickering all the while at those who seek to emulate the passion and "radical" commitment to ideals and principles that drove the Founding Fathers to revolution and that characterize every Godly figure in the Old and New Testament.

In a war of bullets this would be called treason. In politics and culture wars it is merely a permanent state of "dignified" surrender.

Alliance Defense Fund lawyer in Arizona attacks MassResistance findings on Romney and marriage -- read the response and judge for yourself! [Oct. 13]

Since our emails began circulating among pro-family activists around the country charging that Gov. Romney started same-sex "marriage" in Massachusetts when he didn't have to, we knew it was a matter of time before the fireworks would begin.  There's a lot at stake here, politically and emotionally.

Glen Lavy heads marriage litigation for the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF). Lavy and the ADF worked closely with Romney throughout the Goodridge episode, and were involved with some of the litigation surrounding it. Lavy has also written extensively on the subject, and has done related pro-marriage litigation in other states. ADF also did a lot of work on the language of the present VoteOnMarriage.org Constitutional Amendment. So it's reasonable to conclude that ADF has an interest in defending how things were handled by Romney, since they appear to have advised him during that time and did a portion of the legal work.

After seeing our email research and conclusions on this which we had sent to pro-family activists around the country, Lavy sent an email to Tom Shields, board member of Massachusetts Family Institute / VoteOnMarriage, which included a fairly scathing attack on our assessment of the situation. That email has since been widely distributed. Some of you may have seen it.

So we are publishing it, along with a response from two of the people involved in this project: John Haskins and Boston lawyer Robert Paine. Naturally, we would invite Attorney Lavy to respond to these rebuttals if he wishes. The more this gets discussed and critically examined, the better, we say!

READ THE EMAIL, THE CHARGES, AND REBUTTALS --
and judge for yourself:
http://www.massresistance.org/docs/marriage/romney/lavy_email.html

Here's our original series of articles (on the MassResistance website):
"Gov. Romney started same-sex "marriage" in Massachusetts:"
http://www.massresistance.org/docs/marriage/romney/index.html

Why are we "attacking" Mitt Romney?

To our MassResistance activists:

Recently, some people have asked us, "Why are you attacking Gov. Romney, who is on our side?" And a few people were so upset that they asked to be removed from our email list. Fair enough; we think it deserves an answer.

We want you to know that we didn't take this on lightly. It comes after many months of painstaking research, meetings, discussions, and soul searching. It comes after questioning people knowledgeable in many areas of constitutional law. The consensus is that this is for real.

This past May we sat in the Governor's offices in the State House with senior staff to begin to discuss these issues and allegations. But we were coldly dismissed. That was disappointing but not surprising. Romney, like the previous three Republican governors, has worked closely with homosexual activists but seems to consider pro-family conservatives as a foreign breed who tend to upset things.

Over the months, as more information was gathered more people got involved, this seemed to get bigger and bigger. What should we do? Why, at least, not put it out and let it stand or die on its own merits?

To be blunt, a lot of people on "our" side don't get it. We are in a severe constitutional crisis. But unfortunately, too many of our smart people, for whatever political and psychological reasons, don't want to talk about it, or deal with it in anything but a superficial way. Maybe they feel that if they really sat down and thought this through, they'd be afraid of what they'd find.

So a lot of good people have been busying themselves over the last two-dozen months supporting or opposing various constitutional amendments, calling legislators, testifying at public hearings, holding signs outside of the state house, and a hundred other things that they're told is "progress". Just "doing something" in the face of an overwhelming problem feels good and psychologically fulfilling. But what if it's not really solving the things that need to be solved?

So let's be more blunt: Our constitutional government has been taken captive by ideological zealots pushing a destructive social agenda that would not succeed through any legitimate process. A crisis like this calls for strong people in power to take bold action.

Instead, too many of our civic and religious leaders are content to pursue a solution that is politically expedient in the short run (where they can claim a "victory") but that ignores or even strengthens the real underlying evil that will continue to destroy us in the long run.

Moreover, far too many pro-family conservatives have a self-defeating habit of blindly following their political leaders (and the Republican Party in general) no matter badly they treat us, or how much they abuse our laws and Constitution. We're made to feel we should be grateful we're not being ruled by the opposition. So we tell ourselves we must never actually stand for principle and hold any "good guy's" feet to the fire. And where does that get us?

Another virus in the pro-family community is the idea that we must be "reasonable" -- rather than demand what's right -- and continually concede some ideological/principled ground while stepping back to draw a line yet farther back in the sand. When will we learn where that always leads?

We need to raise the bar for our "friends", not lower it.

In 2002, Mitt Romney ran for governor telling the press that the constitutional ban on same-sex marriage was "extreme" and that he wouldn't support it. He's also been on the record supporting both civil unions and domestic partnerships. But now, running for president, he's going around the country saying he's 100% against same-sex marriage and has done everything he can to stop it in Massachusetts.

So if for no other reason, his posturing and apparent lack of conviction on this important issue (and others) unless it was politically advantageous requires one to look at the record and hold it up to the light -- and examine just what he did during that critical time when the everything on the line.

The question shouldn't be, "Why are we doing this?"  The question should be, "Why aren't others doing it?"

Another prominent local "gay" figure arrested for soliciting teenager for sex. [Oct. 13]

The homosexual "community" doesn't seem to think this is a problem.  But it's every parent's nightmare. Remember the William Conley incident a few months back?  We have been trying to warn people that it's really a much bigger problem than they realize, particularly regarding the adults who get involved with the gay school clubs and other taxpayer-funded activities. With increased police survelience of the Internet, it's just being revealed more.

Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts may quit performing marriages over disputes on gay issue! 500-member church in Attleboro MA to leave Episcopal Church! [Oct. 10]

To say that the homosexual marriage issue is breaking down society, is no longer any exaggeration (and see the Paul Johnson link in #5 below).

Even 10 or 15 years ago, it would have been absolutely beyond anyone's imagination that either of these news stories could have been written. Now, frankly, we're not all that surprised.  The only question now is: what's next?

Episcopal Diocese may quit marriages
Same-sex debate drives Mass. plan

In a novel approach to the tensions that have accompanied the same-sex marriage debate in many religious denominations, the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts this month will consider getting out of the marriage business. . .

Episcopal priests in Massachusetts have been particularly engaged in the issue of gay marriage, because the diocese here has been strongly supportive of gay rights, but the national church's regulations define marriage as a heterosexual institution. The local bishop, M. Thomas Shaw , a supporter of same-sex marriage, has decreed that local Episcopal priests cannot sign the marriage licenses of same-sex couples, but can bless those couples after they are legally married by clergy of another denomination or by a civil official.

Yes, both of these are here in Massachusetts. . .

ATTELBORO, MASS: All Saints, Attleboro, Leaves Episcopal Church, Joins AMiA

All Saints is one of the largest parishes in the diocese, and while their departure would not cripple the diocese financially, as multiple departures have done in the Diocese of Florida, their leaving sends a loud signal that revisionist dioceses remain vulnerable to godly parishes that believe the care of souls outweighs The Episcopal Church's bankrupt theology. The diocese of Massachusetts is riddled with gay clergy. . .

Who is targeting David Parker and Parents' Rights?
Major figures in the groups going after David Parker are women -- who were born males!  The "transgender" movement is the next wave moving into the schools.

Foley's case typical: Molested youth often turn to homosexuality.
You're not born that way. An ex-homosexual who is now married with children talks about what people are afraid to say.

STD control undermined when "gay marriage" began?
Soon after the "gay marriages" came to Massachusetts, the Dept. of Public Health stopped requiring a test for STD's when getting married. And guess what's been happening?

Homosexual agenda in Massachusetts schools only getting worse, reports local newspaper columnist. [Dec. 8]

Tom Mountain is a weekly columnist in Newton's local newspaper.  This week's column should be a wake-up call. The train isn't slowing down -- and coming to a school near you (it it's not already there)!  Most of what you'll read about here is funded by state money earmarked for homosexual programs in schools, which was significantly increased this past July.

Mountain: North PC agenda intact

Just when you thought there was some glimmer of hope that Newton North High School had finally re-emerged into the world of academic normalcy with a change in leadership, along comes a manifesto illustrating that the school has once again chosen to become the PC standard bearer in secondary education.

Under the title of "On-Campus Enrichment Programs," the school announced its "partial calendar of events" for the upcoming year. The list reads like it was authored (maybe it was) by commissars from the Rainbow Coalition, the Socialist Workers Party, National Organization for Women, Black Panthers Alumni Association and the kind of radical gay activists that would cause the Gay Republican Log Cabin Club to blush.

Even Deval Patrick would shy away from this one.

The issue of homosexuality has been the primary focus of the On-Campus Enrichment Program for at least the past several years, around the time that Jim Marini stepped down as North principal. There is no logical reason why the school chooses to focus on this topic. North is like any other high school in the state in that there is not, and never has been, a significant number of students claiming to be gay. And the North administration knows that.

It's reasonable to speculate that there are probably more gay staff at North than there are gay students, with a handful of that staff pushing this agenda on the entire school population.

At Newton North there are no less than five days devoted to all things gay.

To Be GLAD Day (Transgender, Bisexual, Gay Lesbian Awareness Day). This is an ongoing North tradition where the school brings in such eminent lecturers as a coach who boasted to the students that he fell in love with his sister's husband (Jerry Springer calling?), and then there's the former male North student who decided to become a woman, and of course, those enlightening never before revealed tidbits such as... "famous homosexuals/bisexuals" (Eleanor Roosevelt), and those "famous gender benders" Joan of Arc and - I kid you not - Bugs Bunny.

World AIDS Day. This disease is a major problem in the gay community, many Newton educators are gay, therefore it is a major part of the Enrichment Program at North. Past lecturer's included a man who claimed he got AIDS as an altar boy when he was raped by a Catholic priest ... in 1977, well before the onset of AIDS in America. This lecture also served a dual purpose of bashing the Catholic Church among a large group of teenagers, many of whom were Catholic.

The Day of Silence. Students are actively encouraged to stay silent all day, even to their teachers, in order to highlight the oppression of gays. The number of students participating in this is unknown, but noticeable at the school, since the role of these students and their faculty advisors is to get noticed. And lest they be ignored by too many people there is a follow-up day called...

The Day of Action. Here these same students and their faculty advisers try to preach to whoever will listen about how awful society is towards gays like them. They generally have the run of the school that day, since anyone who dares to tell them to sit down and shut up would likely be suspended.

Human Rights Day. This, like the No Place for Hate campaign, focuses primarily on the oppression of gays. For reasons of diversity, they may also delve into the oppression of Palestinians or Guantanomo Bay prisoners, maybe even Sudanese refugees in Darfur, especially if they can document the oppression of gay Sudanese.

Then there are those other special days that remind one that the spirit of the 1960s is alive and well in the Newton schools.

Animal Rights Day. You heard right. Cows, pigs, foxes, gerbils. And that turkey on Thanksgiving? They all have rights too, ya know. This one is really too bizarre to dissect, but realize that these North educators are quite serious about it. And it's not too difficult to picture a few of these outraged students in the future spray painting fur coats or liberating laboratory rats, just like their adult role models from the wacky world of animal rights.

Women's History Day. White males are the primary source of oppression in the world. And since they select the male dominated history that's taught, the students must be enlightened to the contributions of Gloria Steimen, Bella Abzug, Maya Angelou and maybe even Cindy Sheehan. Much of this is repetitive, though, since the kids usually learn about these modest feminists by middle school anyway.

Latino Culture Day. This is one of the oppressed groups that the Left (i.e., Newton educators) likes to tout as victims of the white racist society. Anyone with a Hispanic last name falls into their category of the oppressed. Alberto Gonzales and Alex Rodriquez included.

BLAC (Black Leadership Advisory Council) Culture Day. The favorite victim group of PC educators. They hope to graduate enough angry black students to challenge the "white male power structure" that these educators - black and radical or white and guilt ridden - are obsessed with.

Asian Culture Day. The multiculturalists have assigned Asians the role of victim status, probably because they're running out of ethnic groups to declare victimized. It's unknown how many, if any, Asian students buy into this.

(It's noteworthy that the three ethnic groups most represented at North - Jews, Irish, Italians - don't have their special day, then again, they're not on the PC victims list).

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Day. Better not to elaborate on this one, except that if we start holding days for this disability, why not all the others?

International Festival. To celebrate the multicultural perversion of our nation which seeks to divide Americans along racial, ethnic, and religious lines, with their own separate competing identities. And a special focus on those PC-defined oppressed groups.

PAWS Mediation Training. A two-day affair. Think globally, act locally. Fighting is bad, war is horrible. We need to talk things over ... and over and over. If only we could all just get along. Love and peace and brotherhood. Levitate the Pentagon. Sing "Kumbaya" and hope that Iran and North Korea sing along too. Oh yes, there's lots of diversity training, too.

In fairness to the PC gurus at North (and likely due to outside pressure) there's actually a fairly good Veterans Presentation. There's also a Day of Remembrance (Holocaust Remembrance Day). This one is special, and hopefully they won't muck it up by trying to compare it to slavery, intolerance of gays or the oppression of migrant farm workers.

The Newton North Enrichment Program. It's so liberating!

By the way, Tom's observation regarding relative numbers of "gay" teachers versus "gay" students reflects our own findings.  Every school we've ever looked at has far more homosexual teachers! (Especially the schools with "gay" clubs.) Why is this? How does it affect today's schoolchildren?

Reporting on David Parker lawsuit -- mainstream media vs 'new' media: which should you trust? [Dec. 8]

In our last email, we reported that major national homosexual organizations, the ACLU, and others have filed a brief in federal court opposing David Parker's civil rights lawsuit asking for parental notification when and the right to opt-out, when adults discuss homosexuality and transgenderism with elementary schoolchildren.

It's interesting to see how the two types of media -- the left-wing mainstream Boston Globe and the web newspaper WorldNetDaily -- portrayed it.

The Boston Globe article is very subtle but troubling, to say the least.  While not telling any explicit untruths, it lays things out in a way to give a particular impression to the reader. It portrays the homosexual activist group "Human Rights Campaign" and the ACLU as "rights groups" with the law on their side, and David Parker as a crank parent who got arrested. It leaves out what the core argument is really all about, and the significance of national groups getting involved in this local issue.

Rights groups counter parent's suit
The Boston Globe
October 6, 2006

A contingent of gay and civil rights groups has filed a brief opposing the lawsuit filed by Lexington parent David Parker, who has sued his hometown school district for failing to notify parents in advance of class discussions about homosexuality. The groups filing the brief include the American Civil Liberties Union and the Human Rights Campaign. Parker's lawsuit was prompted in March when a class of Lexington second-graders were read ``King and King," a fairy tale in which two princes fall in love. The case is pending in US District Court. The opposition brief, filed on Sept. 20, argues that the state statute that requires prior notice and allows parents to opt out of curriculums pertaining to human sexuality does not extend to books depicting households headed by gay people or same-sex couples. The groups also assert that exposure in the public schools to ideas a parent objects to does not violate freedom of religion or the right of parental control over the upbringing of a child. In April 2005, Parker was arrested for trespassing after he refused to leave his son's school during a meeting in which he insisted that parents be informed in advance of class discussions of homosexuality.

The web newspaper WorldNetDaily is less subtle, and gets right to the point about what this is and why it's significant. It still has the facts of the situation, but one can understand their context much better here. It would appear that the Globe either did not understand the real issue, or purposefully preferred not to mention it. Admittedly, both of these news sources have a biased point of view.  But can you see why people are leaving the mainstream media in droves?

'Gay' groups: We have rights to your children!
WorldNetDaily
October 6, 2006

A collection of 'gay' organizations has filed a friend-of-the-court brief in a Massachusetts lawsuit, claiming they have every right to teach their doctrine to grade-school students.

Parental rights, according to the brief filed this week, "have never meant that a parent can demand prior notice and the right to opt a child out of mere exposure to ideas in the public schools that a parent disapproves of."

That includes, according to the brief, religious or any other ideas.

The new brief was filed in a Massachusetts District Court lawsuit by Lexington parent David Parker, whose civil rights case is pending, by the Human Rights Campaign, the ACLU, Massachusetts Teachers Association, Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders and others.

"The amici organizations urge this court to grant the school defendants' motion to dismiss because the scope of the rights of religious freedom and parental control over the upbringing of children, as asserted by the plaintiffs, would undermine teaching and learning in the Lexington public schools," the brief alleges.

"Why are all these groups – especially the national groups – so interested in a parent's right to decide what moral issues are taught to his children by adults in elementary schools, especially regarding homosexuality," asked Brian Camenker, president of MassResistance. . .
