Scott Lively publishes hard-hitting commentary: The "Gay" Culture War: It's Nearly Lost

Following his remarks at the MassResistance Banquet

POSTED: Sept. 27, 2011

How bad are things here?  What must we do to turn them around?

In his closing remarks at the Sept. 18 MassResistance banquet, Dr. Scott Lively said that he felt strongly that America isn't eight years behind Britain, but much farther along than people realize, and that people must wake up to that fact.

A few days later he wrote a commentary in on where we stand in the "culture war" which was published the Friday, Sept. 23, in WorldNetDaily.

As many of you know, Scott Lively is an internationally known pro-family activist and the author of several books. He is a lawyer and has a doctorate in theology, and is a pastor of an inner-city Christian mission in Springfield, Massachusetts. (And, of course, he's despised by the Boston media.)

Telling it like it is

Things are definitely going in the wrong direction. The homosexual movement is having overwhelming successes in indoctrinating children the public schools (funded by both public and corporate money). The recent implementation of the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" repeal is already changing the US military. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Dr. Lively's message: Wake up and smell the coffee. The situation is very bad and it's about to get worse. The homosexual movement's end game isn't "toleration" but complete control of public and private discourse on this issue. It is a much bigger threat than people realize. So we must stop being afraid to tell the truth. We must stop apologizing and stop groveling. And stop reinforcing the ridiculous assumption that Christians need to offer a disclaimer to prove they aren't haters. It's time to fight back.
