Privacy Policy

MassResistance is committed to protecting the privacy of our supporters. Our Privacy Policy is designed to inform you of the types of information we collect and how we use that information.

How we gather information from users: MassResistance collects information that supporters provide on our contact pages or our donation page. We also collect information from our sign-up sheets at events, online petitions, or other communication from users, such as phone calls or letters.

Information Collected: Here are the types of information that we collect and maintain:

No access to credit card information: We do not maintain credit card numbers, expiration dates, or CVV numbers. When a credit card donation is processed, that information is stored by our credit card processing company and we do not have access to it.

No Sharing of Personal Information: MassResistance will never sell, rent, lease, or share your personal information with any outside organizations. We assure you that the identity of all our donors will be kept confidential. Additionally, the US Supreme Court has ruled that the government may not require activist organizations to provide them the names or other information about our supporters or donors – and we will always stand by that.

Removing Your Name From Our Mailing List: It is our desire to not send unwanted mail or email. If you ever want to be taken off our mailing list or email list, please let us know and we will do so immediately.

Cookies and online tracking: A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Unlike most websites, we do not use cookies. We also do not track users’ movements on our website. We value your privacy.

Security: MassResistance takes extreme precautions to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. We use the latest security technology available.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we, MassResistance are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information.

Refund Policy: It’s extremely rare, but people have asked for refunds if they made a typing mistake entering a credit card donation. For example, one person once charged a $2500 donation when he meant to charge a $25.00 donation! If this happens, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you.
